Elon Musk’s social media platform X on Thursday blocked search results for the name of the alleged teenage gunman in the Georgia school massacre.
Colt Gray, 14, was arrested after two students and two teachers were killed at Apalachee High School in Winder, Ga., on Wednesday.
His name was published by several media outlets, including The Post, but a search for “Colt Gray” on X resulted in an error message Thursday.
An X search of the name of the gunman alleged to have killed four people and wounded nine in Georgia on Wednesday produces an error page. XUsers were directed to a mostly blank page with the message: “Something went wrong. Try reloading.”
A pop-up at the bottom of the screen added: “Something went wrong, but don’t fret — it’s not your fault.”
The Post has sought comment from Musk and X.
Meanwhile, a search for “Colt Gray” on Threads, the X rival owned by Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta, spit out several results.
