Yahoo! has bought Silicon Valley mobile startup OnTheAir, as CEO Marissa Mayer seeks to beef up the company’s mobile strategy and bring on new engineering talent.
OnTheAir lets users hold online video chats in a talk-show format. The acquisition of OnTheAir follows the purchase of mobile startup Stamped, whose service Yahoo! closed. Terms weren’t disclosed.
