Yahoo said Tuesday its fourth-quarter net income rose to $312 million, or 24 cents a share, from $153 million, or 11 cents a share, in the same period a year earlier.
The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company said earnings included restructuring charges of two cents a share.
Net revenue for the period fell four percent to $1.21 billion, Yahoo said.
Analysts polled by FactSet Research had expected Yahoo to report fourth-quarter earnings of 23 cents a share, and $1.19 billion in net revenue.
Online display-advertising revenue rose 14 percent, Yahoo said.
