Social game network developer Zynga is teaming with Hasbro to develop a wide range of toy and gaming experiences based on Zynga’s most popular Facebook games and characters, All Things Digital Reported.

The deal, announced yesterday, could see board games of “FarmVille,” “Words With Friends” or “CityVille” in the not-too-distant future. In addition, action figures based on some of its game characters may be in the works.

Zynga said the deal offers opportunities for co-branded merchandise featuring both Hasbro and Zynga brands.
