Grayson Allen just can’t help himself.

With the first half of Duke vs. North Carolina winding down, everyone’s favorite bad-boy Blue Devil struck again.

Allen had the ball with 3:09 to go in the half and was driving to the basket from the top of the key against the Tar Heels’ Brandon Robinson. The replay clearly shows, as Allen goes to make his move to the lane, he throws an elbow to Robinson’s face.

Robinson, who had one arm tangled under Allen’s other arm, pulled up and grabbed his face after the blow, then suffered the indignity of being called for a foul despite being on the receiving end of Allen’s elbow.

After an official review, Allen was called for a technical – not his first run in with the rule book this season. Although this one may have been the first not to involve his legs, which is improvement?
