After advancing out of the First Four to the Round of 64, Mount St. Mary’s is back in action this afternoon facing a formidable opponent.
The Mountaineers (23-12) beat American 83-72 on Wednesday night, marking their third-ever March Madness win. However, they’ve never escaped the first round, and today, they’ll make an attempt against the heavily favored Duke Blue Devils.
Duke won the ACC Tournament title last weekend, and notably, they did it without freshman star Cooper Flagg, who missed the last two games of the tournament with an ankle injury suffered during a quarterfinal against Georgia.
