The stage is set for the Elite 8 round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament, and it begins tonight with a matchup featuring the only remaining No. 3 seed in the tournament, Texas Tech, facing off against the No. 1 Florida Gators.

The Red Raiders mounted an improbable come-from-behind victory against No. 10 Arkansas in the Sweet 16. Down 13 points with less than five minutes left in the game, Texas Tech bounced back to force the first overtime game of this year’s March Madness, where they eventually won 85-83.

The Gators had a much more decisive victory against Maryland on Thursday. Now, their sights are set on reaching the Final Four for the first time since 2014.

Whoever wins tonight will advance to the Final Four and play either Auburn or Michigan State next Saturday, April 5.
