Auburn has been one of the strongest teams in all of college basketball this year, and enter March Madness as a No. 2 seed. It will host the No. 15 Jacksonville State Gamecocks, who have a good chance to cover a wide spread in their tournament opener.

Jacksonville State (+15.5) over Auburn
The Tigers aren’t as tough away from home, suffering all five of their losses outside of Auburn. Four have come in the past nine games. Though Auburn will survive, its recent struggles make it hard to believe that the 2-seed will be in peak form, giving an opening to an opponent which lost by six at Alabama this season. The Gamecocks have an experienced and balanced attack that won’t be intimidated by the SEC power. As one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the country (38 percent), they may even be able to make the Tigers sweat.
