The Michigan State Spartans and the Auburn Tigers will wrap up the Elite 8 stage of 2025 March Madness this afternoon.

The No. 1 Tigers were down nine points in the second half against Michigan in the Sweet 16, but made quick work to wipe out that deficit to take the lead. Over the final 12 1/2 minutes of the game, the Tigers outscored the Wolverines 39-17 to win 78-65.

Michigan State also overcame multiple point deficits during its Sweet 16 matchup with Ole Miss, not taking the lead until there were less than eight minutes on the clock. A big night for Jase Richardson helped propel the Spartans to the win.

One coveted spot in the Final Four remains, and whichever team wins tonight will play No. 1 Florida next weekend.
