St. John’s is playing UConn in the Big East championship game at 6:30 p.m. ET from MSG.

After winning the regular season and tournament titles last season, the Red Storm is looking for a Big East repeat in 2026.

So this rubber match will have plenty on the line on Saturday night.

Who will take it — Rick Pitino’s St. John’s crew or Dan Hurley’s Huskies?

"I'm not too much of an emotional guy, but I shed a tear," he said. "I mean, I love this place, and Johnnies Nation is so special to me. Just to see the excitement on my teammates' faces is what meant the most to me."
