LOS ANGELES — ABC has refused to broadcast a trailer for the upcoming film, “Our Idiot Brother” because the short promo is too vulgar, AOL’s Moviefone blog reported Thursday.

The Disney-owned network objected to the clip because the footage included scenes referencing a drug deal, getting high and shows the film’s star, actor Paul Rudd, using a juice box to simulate urination.

The movie’s producers, The Weinstein Company, retaliated by releasing an even more salacious version of the trailer online that included multiple F-bombs and a nearly full frontal nude scene.

“We’d like to dedicate our new red band trailer for ‘Our Idiot Brother’ to censorship everywhere,” Harvey Weinstein said in a statement.

Actresses Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel and Emily Mortimer also star in the film that hits theaters Friday.
