Lackluster ratings has left ABC’s “Pan Am” on the chopping block for months — but that hasn’t stopped it from winning a prestigious European TV award.

The series, about ’60s-era flight attendants, won the Best Series prize at the 2012 Rose d’Or awards in Switzerland.
