Actor Ryan Reynolds is recovering from injuries he suffered while filming “The Green Lantern” on the film’s set in New Orleans, La., Us Weekly reported Wednesday.

“The Proposal” actor separated his shoulder on Monday and “is in lots of pain…keeping ice” on his injury, a source said.

Reynolds, 33, reportedly beat out Hollywood heavyweights Bradley Cooper and Jared Leto to land the lead role in the film, expected to be released in June 2011.

Reynolds is married to “Lost in Translation” star Scarlett Johansson.
