Amanda Bynes has spoken out about the viral rumor that disgraced Nickelodeon producer Dan Schneider got her pregnant at 13.
The former child star, 39, told TMZ that the TikTok clip that appears to show her making the accusation against Schneider, 59, is fake.
The video, according to Bynes, was spliced together with other unrelated clips to manufacture “lies for click bait.”

The since-deleted video, which came from a Bynes fan account, shows the “All That” alum on the screen with the text “The man I got pregnant with him [sic] at the age of 13! 😭.”
The video then cut to a clip of a young Bynes wearing a bikini sitting in a hot tub with Schneider. The scene was from a recurring sketch from Bynes’ sketch comedy series “The Amanda Show,” which aired on Nickelodeon from 1999 to 2002.

Schneider — who worked on shows such as “The Amanda Show,” “All That” and “iCarly” — was accused of sexually abusing child stars in the 2024 ID docuseries “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.”
In the series, Schneider was accused of promoting a toxic work environment and hiring three known convicted sex offenders — production assistant Jason Handy, animator Ezel Channel and acting coach Brian Peck.

“Recently, the docuseries ‘Quiet on Set’ highlighted mistakes I made and poor judgment I exhibited during my time at Nickelodeon, most of which happened decades ago during my early career as a producer, working on shows for Tollin/Robbins Productions,” Schneider said in a statement in May 2024.

In November, Judge Ashfaq G. Chowdhury ruled that Schneider’s lawsuit against the docuseries could continue, after Warner Bros. and Maxine Productions tried to have the lawsuit suit tossed out and argued the documentary didn’t defame Schneider, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Judge Chowdhury reportedly agreed with Schneider’s lawyers “that defamation can be implied, that the trailer and documentary state or imply Schneider sexually abused children who worked on his show and that Schneider was a child sexual abuser.”
Bynes stepped back from acting at 24. Two years later, she was charged with DUI before getting into a series of other debacles with the law over the next few years.
