Amy Schumer opened up the third season of her show with a bang — er, well, more of a satire on women deemed too old to bang.
Schumer collected an all-star party of female actresses — “30 Rock” star Tina Fey, Patricia Arquette of the film “Boyhood” and Julia Louis-Dreyfus from “Veep” — for a sketch lampooning Hollywood’s standards of age and beauty when it comes to women.
Schumer happens among the group throwing a party in the woods to toast Louis-Dreyfus’ “Last F - - kable Day” — i.e., the moment the media decides an actress is no longer a sex object, while their male counterparts continue to enjoy sex- symbol status practically into senior citizen years. Watch as they send her along the same path Sally Field traveled before them.
