LOS ANGELES — An arrest warrant was issued for former “American Idol” contestant Chikezie Eze after he failed to show in court for a probation hearing, TMZ reported Thursday.
Eze, who placed 10th on the reality show’s seventh season, got three years probation in August after admitting he tried to use a fake credit card to buy $1,200 worth of cologne at Neiman Marcus.
The 25-year-old singer was arrested in February at the luxury department store in Beverly Hills.
He pleaded no contest to felony charges of identity theft.
