Books about Alibaba founder Jack Ma and former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan were among the half dozen titles that made the short list for 2016 business book of the year from the Financial Times and McKinsey.

The finalists for the award were unveiled by FT Editor Lionel Barber and Rodney Zemmel, the managing partner for McKinsey’s Northeast offices, at a gala luncheon at the Rainbow Room on Tuesday.

The winner will be announced in London in November and receive 30,000 British pounds (about $53,340 US) while the other short list finalists earn their authors a 10,000 pound prize ($13,335 US).

Here are the finalists: “What Works, Gender Equality by Design,” Iris Bohnet; “Alibaba: The House that Jack Ma Built,” Duncan Clark; “Makers and Takers: The Rise of Finance and the Fall of American Business,” Rana Foroohar; “The 100 Year Life: Living and Working in an Age of Longevity,” Lynda Gratton and Andrew Scott; and “The Man Who Knew: The Life and Times of Alan Greenspan,” Sebastian Mallaby.
