The cast and crew of “Emilia Pérez” hoped to sing and dance their way to the stage at Sunday’s 2025 Golden Globe Awards, with Jacques Audiard’s charming drug cartel musical scoring 10 nominations.

It had the most nods of any feature film contender, with Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomez both earning nominations for best supporting actress in any movie for their performances in the Netflix thriller-musical. And spoiler alert: It won big.

“Emilia Pérez” was also up for best motion picture musical or comedy — competing with some of 2024’s other most notable films, including “Wicked” and “The Substance,” which also saw a lead actress nod for Demi Moore and supporting actress nod for Margaret Qualley.

On the TV front, FX/Hulu’s “The Bear” continued to dominate, earning the most nominations for any TV series with five nods. “Only Murders in the Building” and “Shōgun” earned four nominations each, while “Baby Reindeer,” “Disclaimer” and “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” nabbed three apiece.
