Celebrity roaster extraordinaire Nikki Glaser hosted the 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, breathing new life into a ceremony that Jo Koy all but sent to its grave last year with his disastrous turn as emcee.
The “Veronica Mars” alum, 44, posted a video to Instagram, where she showed Harrison Ford and Anthony Mackie presenting an award before panning the camera over to the “Parenthood” actor, 50.

Bell captioned the clip, “#priorities.”
The “Nobody Wants This” star was nominated for best performance by a female actor in a television series — music or comedy for her role in the hit Netflix show alongside Adam Brody.
Demi Moore’s family freaks out over her first acting win in 45-year career at 2025 Golden Globes
Demi Moore’s massive talent was finally recognized — and her daughters couldn’t be happier.
The 62-year-old’s family cheered her on from afar while she took home her first Golden Globe award on Sunday in the category of best actress in a comedy or musical for her role in “The Substance.”
Rumer Willis, Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis, whom Moore shares with ex-husband Bruce Willis, were at home watching the television anxiously when they heard their mom’s name be called.

The trio jumped up and down, screaming in excitement and crying tears of joy. Even Moore’s granddaughter, Rumer’s 21-month-old daughter Louetta, was there for the moment.
Adding a picture of Moore holding her award on her Instagram Stories, the actress wrote: “I am so beyond proud, my entire body is buzzing. I am so overwhelmed with joy, and pride and gratitude!”
The "Griselda" star jokingly shouted at Jodie Foster when the latter star beat the former for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Motion Picture—Television at the 2025 Golden Globes.
"No! No! Not again!” Vergara yelled from the audience as the "True Detective" star accepted her trophy on stage.

"Give me one!” the "Modern Family" alum added.
Foster laughed at Vergara's remarks and even gave her a shoutout in her speech.

"The greatest thing about being this age and being in this time is having a community of all these people, especially you, Sofia,” Foster said.
Foster previously beat Vergara in September at the 2024 Emmy Awards.
I have just woken up from a strange and confusing dream. I dreamt that the 2025 Golden Globe Awards were actually tolerable.
But it wasn’t a dream. It was a broadcast! And Nicole Kidman, and Timothée Chalamet, and Angelina Jolie and “Wicked” were there, Auntie Em!
Look, it’s still an award show — a genre that in just 10 short years has gone from a much-watched special event that people legitimately cared about to a rung below a rerun of “Chicago Med.”
The Globes remain far too long-winded. The saggy middle, when TV trophies were unenthusiastically dished out like steamed broccoli, felt longer than “The Brutalist” — the 3 ½ hour winner of best motion picture – drama.
But this year’s Globes were infinitely superior to 2024 when the ceremony was a sleepy and predictable coronation for “Oppenheimer” and comedian Jo Koy’s abysmal hosting was an unwatchable cringe-fest.
His terrific successor, Nikki Glaser, was terribly funny right from her first line: “Welcome to the 82nd annual Golden Globes: Ozempic’s biggest night!”
The 2025 Golden Globes were held on Sunday, Jan. 5 – and as usual, it was full of best and worst moments.
Host Nikki Glaser, 40, did a good job delivering a monologue full of zingers at celebs like Timothee Chalamet and Glen Powell. It was also a good night for both Zoe Saldana, 46, and Demi Moore, 62, who were both first-time winners after spending more than two decades in showbiz -- Saldana won for "Emilia Perez" and Moore won for "The Substance."
In "worst moments," Seth Rogen and Catherine O'Hara made a porn joke that went on too long and overstayed its welcome, and Jeremy Allen White once again won in the "comedy actor" category for "The Bear," a non-comedy -- beating out more deserving actors this year. To add insult to injury, White wasn't even there to accept his trophy, while all the other comedy actors in his comedy were in attendance.
Colin Farrell also had a sweet and classy moment when he thanked a craft services employee in his acceptance speech for "The Penguin."

The actor, 52, took home the prize for best actor in a motion picture, drama at the 2025 awards ceremony for his work in "The Brutalist."
Taking the stage to give his acceptance speech, he thanked his girlfriend Georgina Chapman.
"To my beautiful and amazing partner Georgina, your generosity of spirit, your own resilience, your immense creativity are a daily reminder of how to be," he said. "I would not be standing here before you if it wasn't for you. There was a time not too long ago that I felt that this may never be a moment afforded to me again, so thank you."

He also acknowledged the profound impact his parents have had on him.
"Oh my goodness, you always hold me up," he told the packed ballroom at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
"I often credit my mother for her influence on me as an artist but dad, you are the foundation of this family, and all the love I receive flows back to you," he continued.

"This story is really the character's journey is very reminiscent of my mother's and my ancestral journey of fleeing the horrors of war coming to this great country and you know, I owe so much to my mother and my grandparents for their sacrifice," Brody also said.
"Although I do not know fully how to express all of the challenges that you have faced and experienced and the many people who have struggled immigrating to this country, I hope that this work stands to lift you up and to give you a voice. I'm so grateful. I will cherish this moment forever, thank you."

"I didn't prepare anything because I was glad already," Torres, 59, began. "This was such an amazing year for female performances. So many actresses here that I admire so much."
She added in part, "This is a film that helps us to survive in tough times like this. And of course, I want to dedicate it to my mother. She was here 25 years ago.
Torres's mother, Fernanda Montenegro, was also nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama in 1999 for her role in "Central Station."
She was the first (and only) Brazilian actress to ever be nominated for a Best Actress award at the ceremony. Fernanda lost that year to Cate Blanchett, who played Queen Elizabeth I in "Elizabeth," but was there to accept the trophy for the win in the Best Foreign Film category.
Torres, meanwhile, was up against Pamela Anderson for "The Last Showgirl," Angelina Jolie for "Maria," Nicole Kidman in "Babygirl" and Tilda Swinton for "The Room Next Door" and Kate Winslet for "Lee."
