‘BACH’ LOVE MUST WAIT
THE latest “Bachelor” and his new potential fiancée will have to cool their romance at least until school is out.
Jennifer Wilson, 24, the bubbly blonde chosen by Prince Lorenzo Borghese Monday night on “The Bachelor: Rome,” won’t even consider joining her beau in New York until after May, when she finishes teaching her grade-school class in Pembroke Pines, Fla.
“I think we’re just going to be visiting each other and talking on the phone as much as we can,” Wilson said yesterday.
Wilson said that the pair had only seen each other once since the show finished taping in late September – a brief weekend in California – but had talked on the phone frequently since then.
She understands that long-distance relationships can be rough, especially one with Lorenzo, a real prince related to Italy’s exiled royal family. But if he cheats on her, Wilson says gossip columns, like Page Six, will catch him.
“In a relationship, I believe that trust is very important and I trust Lorenzo,” she said. “If I didn’t trust him, I wouldn’t have accepted the final rose.” If he steps out of line, she says. “I’m sure it’ll get written about, so I’ll find out that way.”
