Beyoncé has had quite the year so far. She took the country by storm with her fiery Super Bowl half time show, then followed it up with a self-directed HBO documentary and sit-down with Oprah Winfrey. She even covered the March issue of Vogue. But one thing has been mysteriously missing from this Bey media blitz: any actual new music for the artist to be promoting.

That changes today. This afternoon, Beyoncé posted a new song on her Tumblr and SoundCloud entitled “Bow Down / I Been On.” And boy is it a departure from anything we’ve heard from Ms. Carter lately. Listen below for yourself.
