‘Dancing With the Stars” could get a little crabbier next season.

If “Deadliest Catch” star Sig Hansen has his way, he’ll be able to put his sea legs to the test on the hit ABC competition series next March.

“I think it’d be good for the [‘Deadliest Catch’] brand, once-in-a-lifetime thing, and it’s

f- -king cool, you know?” Hansen reportedly told the St. Petersburg Times.

As far as Hansen can tell, the only real problem with his appearing on “DWTS” could be that his Discovery show airs in the same timeslot in the spring.

Showing off his fox trot has apparently been a long-held dream of Hansen’s.

While appearing on the “Tonight Show” in April 2010, Hansen went so far as to film an audition tape in which he demonstrated a few dance moves.

A “DWTS” representative said, “We do not comment on casting rumors.”
