FOX News Channel business whiz Neil Cavuto has signed a five-year contract renewal as vice president and managing editor of business news at cable’s top-rated news network.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Neil is the best financial reporter in the country,” said FNC chairman/CEO Roger Ailes. “He has built a powerful business block here at Fox News.”

“Your World with Neil Cavuto” (airing at 4-5 p.m. weekdays) is the top-rated business show on cable. Last month it averaged 573,000 households and 648,000 viewers.

Cavuto also anchors “Cavuto on Business,” which airs every weekend.
