A man was arrested on Monday, May 5, after allegedly crashing his car through the front gates of Jennifer Aniston’s $21 million Bel-Air mansion.
Law enforcement officials told The Post that the incident unfolded at 12:20 p.m. after a male identified as Jimmy Wayne Carwyle drove through the gate of the residence in his vehicle. The “Friends” star’s private security detained the driver until police arrived.
Aniston, 56, was home at the time of the crash, according to ABC News.
Despite reports, the suspect is 48, not in his 70s, The Post confirmed. LAPD arrested Carwyle for felony vandalism without incident, and he’s being held without bail, per the booking sheet.

Fortunately for the “Murder Mystery” actress, the startling accident comes as she prepares to leave her Bel-Air property and move into a nearly $15 million pad in Montecito.
The driver was arrested and booked for felony vandalism. ABC7Aniston bought the property from Oprah Winfrey for $14.8 million in September 2022, and she has reportedly spent the last three years renovating the four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom Tuscan-style farmhouse.
Aerial photographs taken in March appeared to show Aniston’s renovations nearing their final stages, suggesting that the “Horrible Bosses” actress would soon be making the Montecito property her main home.
After Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Adam Levine and Ariana Grande, Aniston is just the latest celeb to leave La La Land for the affluent Santa Barbara hotspot. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also lived in Montecito since 2020.

However, after the pair were spotted having a three-hour dinner date in West Hollywood in March, Pascal, 50, appeared to dispel the romance rumors.
The “Last of Us” star told Access Hollywood he was simply “trying to convince” Aniston to join the HBO show during their lengthy dinner date.
“I would do anything for Jennifer,” Pascal gushed. FilmMagicHe also said it “wouldn’t be a terrible thing” if he managed to land a role on Aniston’s Apple TV+ drama, “The Morning Show.”
“I would do anything for Jennifer,” Pascal gushed at the time. “She’s that person. She’s that person to everyone.”
“It’s just that, really,” he continued. “I guess the best way that I could describe it is I remember… if you’re in a party setting and you make eye contact with Jen, she just knows exactly what’s going on with you and knows exactly how to make you feel.”
Aniston later made a small cameo in the Season 2 premiere of “The Last of Us” when she appeared on the cover of a 2003 People magazine.
