King Charles is doing all he can to “disassociate himself publicly” from his scandal-scarred brother Prince Andrew, according to a royal commentator.

It emerged last week that the disgraced Duke of York, 64, had kept in contact with late alleged serial sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein for longer than he initially let on — and royal experts claim that Charles has simply had enough.

Several prominent royal experts have since told Fox News that the Firm is waiting “with bated breath” to see if more bombshells will land on the House of Windsor.

And the king is said to be personally fed up with his younger brother, who is reportedly still clinging onto hope to one day be let back into the royal fold.

“King Charles III is expected to do all he can to disassociate himself publicly and to make certain Andrew doesn’t appear with any senior members of the royal family,” royal commentator Hilary Fordwich told the outlet.

Meanwhile, royal photographer Helena Chard said the disgraced former working royal is “pining for his previous life.”

“The royal family and the few friends he has left are sadly burdened with the negative fallout,” Chard added.

In court documents unveiled as part of another case last week, it was revealed that Andrew had messaged Epstein to say that they would “play some more soon” in an email sent two months after the prince claimed their friendship had ended.

Proof of correspondence between the pair shows that Andrew wrote to the financier on the same day a photo of the prince with then-17-year-old Virginia Giuffre emerged, a court has heard.

Andrew initially claimed he had cut ties with Epstein — who died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking and federal conspiracy charges — in December 2010.

However, in late February 2011, Andrew wrote to Epstein, “Keep in close touch and we’ll play some more soon.”

Now, royal expert Ian Pelham Turner insists that Andrew simply has no shot at becoming a working royal ever again.

“The allegation of further contact with Epstein, which is coming out now, will be seen as further damage to the royal brand,” Turner told the outlet.

“Andrew has become so toxic that any future attempt to reinvent himself as a working royal will fail.”

The Post has reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment.

Meanwhile, Chard added that the monarch, 76, “and the rest of the royal family will certainly sigh as loose cannon Prince Andrew is brought into further disrepute.”

Andrew’s emails, seen by Bloomberg, were read aloud in a London courtroom as part of a filing by the Financial Conduct Authority, which is defending an appeal by Jes Staley, a former Barclays bank honcho, to the Upper Tribunal.

As for his past connection to Epstein, Andrew previously admitted no wrongdoing but wrote in a letter that he regretted his association with the late financier.

As a result, Andrew was stripped of his military titles and royal patronages, as well as his HRH title. He was also forced to give up his role as a working royal.
