Ben Foster has filed for divorce from his wife, Laura Prepon.
Foster, 44, cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakdown in his marriage with the “That ’70s Show” star, also 44, according to court documents viewed by The Post and first obtained by TMZ.
In his divorce petition filed in Tennessee on Sept. 9 — the date Foster also lists as the day of the couple’s separation — the “X-Men” star asks the court to enforce a prenuptial agreement he says he and Prepon signed in 2018.
Foster and Prepon are currently living separately. Per TMZ, Prepon currently resides in Tennessee while Foster is living in Los Angeles.

The insiders added that Prepon has stopped wearing her wedding ring.
Meanwhile, Foster has not been photographed wearing his wedding band since August.
Prepon and Foster met as teenagers and were both friends with Prepon’s “That ’70s Show” costar Danny Masterson for several years.
The pair began a romantic relationship in July 2016 and got engaged in October of that year. They welcomed a daughter, Ella, the following August.

“Ben and I are really great about if I’m at work, he’s [at home], and if he’s at work, I’m [at home],” Prepon shared. “[But] I do feel guilty, and I just know that [Ella would] be proud if she knew. I’ve talked to a bunch of women [asking], ‘How do you do this?’ And they’re just like, ‘There’s really no solution. You just do it.’”
The couple got married in June 2018. Prepon shared the news on Instagram.
“Just Married! Thank you for all the love and support. Wishing all of us the good stuff!” she captioned a sepia-toned wedding photo of her and Foster.

“Welcoming home our new bundle of love,” Prepon wrote on Instagram alongside a pic of her holding her newborn. “Overwhelmed with gratitude.” To date she and Foster have not revealed the child’s name, citing privacy reasons.
“It’s a constant negotiation because we’re so fortunate to do what we love,” the actress told Us shortly after their son’s birth. “But part of being in the public eye is how do you negotiate keeping your privacy, how do you negotiate keeping your personal life private?”
