Mark Hamill was forced to flee his Malibu home as dangerous wildfires continue to spread through Southern California.
The “Star Wars” actor, 73, posted a statement on Instagram Tuesday night where he detailed his and his family’s “last-minute” evacuation.
“Personal Fire Update: 7pm- Evacuated Malibu so last-minute there (were) small fires on both sides of the road as we approached [Pacific Coast Highway],” Hamill wrote.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency as the fires have burned more than 3,000 acres, including several homes, and has zero containment as of Wednesday morning, according to CalFire.

Levy told the Los Angeles Times that he got trapped in traffic of other fleeing residents attempting to leave the Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

Reality TV stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag lost their Pacific Palisades home in the massive blaze, according to TMZ, just hours after Pratt shared a video of a plane dropping water on the nearby flames on Instagram.

A local news station captured the 66-year-old out moving cars to make room for fire trucks to drive into the endangered community.

“There are families up there, there are pets up there. There are people who really need help,” he said while visibly emotional.
The cause of the wildfire is unknown.
