Meghan Markle is taking a bite out of the Big Apple.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, grabbed dinner at the Polo Bar in Midtown with pals, before attending the Broadway production of “Gypsy” on Thursday night.

In photos exclusively obtained by The Post, Markle appeared in good spirits during her outing, for which she donned a black blouse and floor-length houndstooth pencil skirt, as well as a pair of black pumps.

The “Suits” alum kept her signature brunette locks flowing over her shoulders, and accessorized with minimal gold jewelry for the occasion.

After dinner, Markle was driven from the Polo Bar to the Majestic Theatre in Times Square — in a four-vehicle motorcade, no less.

An unmarked NYPD car accompanied the duchess on her 1.5-mile journey. Sources told Page Six that the vehicle had two intel detectives inside of it and that two of the cars in the royal’s motorcade were decoys.

The mom of two was closely guarded by security as she entered the theater, accompanied by former secret service agents, per Page Six. There, she enjoyed — or endured — a 2-hour-and-40-minute revival of “Gypsy,” helmed by six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald.

The pair later met for the first time backstage.

“If you get a chance to see @gypsybway, you absolutely must. Congratulations to the tremendously talented cast and crew for creating magic on that stage. And meeting @audramcdonald for the first time last night….🥹,” Markle wrote via Instagram on Friday.

“Her performance will leave you absolutely speechless. Full body chills. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house, and if the theater didn’t have to close for the night, the standing ovation would still be happening.”

Markle’s increased security on Thursday night comes after she and her husband, Prince Harry, were caught up in a so-called “near catastrophic” paparazzi car chase through Manhattan in May 2023.

The duo found themselves at the center of a high-speed pursuit after leaving the Ziegfeld Theatre in Midtown with Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, following an event.

However, law enforcement sources later described a much less dramatic ordeal, saying the chase only lasted about one hour as the family switched to a yellow cab to try to get the paps off their trail.

The Sussexes ultimately didn’t file any charges over the incident, but the NYPD announced in 2023 that the pair will receive heightened security during future trips to the Big Apple.

While it’s unclear if Markle boasts a friendship with McDonald, the renowned stage actress previously praised Markle for her strength through trying times.

“I don’t know how she continues to walk through this world with the grace, strength, and purpose that she does given the unbearable amount of vitriol and hate she has been subjected to, but she does,” the Broadway star told Vanity Fair in 2023. “I wish she didn’t have to.”

As Markle pranced around NYC, her hubby made an unannounced visit to Ukraine as part of his ongoing work with wounded veterans.

Harry visited the Superhumans Center, an orthopedic clinic in Lviv that treats and rehabilitates wounded military personnel and civilians, to see top-notch services provided in a country in the midst of war.

The center provides prosthetics, reconstructive surgery and psychological help free of charge.

The Duke of Sussex, who served 10 years in the British Army, has made helping injured soldiers one of his most prominent causes.
