Michelle Trachtenberg’s boyfriend was seen for the first time since the “Gossip Girl” actress’ sudden death on Wednesday.

Jay Cohen, a Hollywood talent agent, was at the Los Angeles home he shared with Trachtenberg when he answered the door and responded to a reporter’s question for comment hours after her death in Manhattan.

“The family will not be commenting on the tragedy,” a teary-eyed Cohen, 63, told the Daily Mail.

The Post broke the news of Trachtenberg’s death on Wednesday. The “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum was 39.

Her mother found her around 8 a.m. Wednesday at her luxury apartment on Manhattan’s Central Park South, sources told The Post.

“It is with great sadness [we] confirm that Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away,” Trachtenberg’s rep Gary Mantoosh said in a statement to The Post. “The family requests privacy for their loss. There are no further details at this time.”

The “Gossip Girl” star underwent a liver transplant in the past year. Per sources, it’s believed her body may have rejected the organ and that Trachtenberg died of natural causes.

Tributes to Trachtenberg quickly poured in after her fans, friends and former co-stars learned of her untimely passing.

Rosie O’Donnell, who co-starred with Trachtenberg in “Harriet the Spy” (1996), along with Trachtenberg’s “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” castmates James Marsters and Alyson Hannigan, and her fellow “Gossip Girl” vet Ed Westwick, were among those remembering the star Wednesday.

Trachtenberg and Cohen reportedly began dating in 2020. The former Wall Street investment banker works at the Gersh Talent Agency, which the “Ice Princess” star signed with for representation in 2014.

The couple’s relationship went Instagram official on Valentine’s Day 2023, with Trachtenberg sharing a photo of her smiling alongside Cohen, and Cohen posting a mirror selfie with the actress.

“My valentine,” he captioned the pic.

Trachtenberg continued to declare her affection for Cohen on social media in the final months of her life.

In a birthday tribute to the former Wall Street investment banker posted to Instagram in March 2024, the actress wrote, “Happy Birthday to the man who puts up with me @jaymcohen ❤️‍🔥💋🎂.”

The caption was paired with a Halloween photo of Trachtenberg dressed as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde next to Cohen as Frankenstein.

Trachtenberg reposted the photo earlier this month as she wished Cohen a happy Valentine’s Day.

“Happy Valentine’s Day to the man who sits still long enough for me to paint his face,” she wrote.
