Prince William has outlined a plan to deal with his disgraced uncle, Prince Andrew, once he becomes king, according to a new report. APThis, in turn, means taking a far less diplomatic approach than his father, King Charles.
“William is far more hard-nosed than Charles when it comes to protecting the monarchy’s reputation,” one former courtier told the outlet.
“He’s fully aware of the harm Andrew has caused to the monarchy’s reputation and won’t shy away from actions his grandmother or father may have steered clear of,” they added.
“Andrew’s dukedom could be up for discussion when William takes the throne,” an insider said.

What’s more, the monarch has the power to revoke HRH titles through letters patent — something he is reportedly thinking of doing.
The prince and princess titles can also be removed with a Royal Warrant, though insiders said it’s unlikely that this approach will receive government backing as it may be deemed a personal matter, the outlet adds.

The alleged comments had resulted in the breakdown of their relationship.
It comes just days after Lownie, who details various tidbits about the disgraced prince in his latest biography, “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,” claimed the duke doesn’t have a bright future regarding his royal and private lives.
Lownie said Andrew — who recently won his yearslong fight to stay at the Royal Lodge — is already “living the life of a retired man.”

“What most annoys him is his lack of a royal status. That’s what really sort of gave him his whole sense of identity,” Lownie told the outlet.
“And that’s, you know, it’s not being able to put on his uniforms and strut around and being self-important,” he added.
