With love, the royal family won’t be tuning in.
After Meghan Markle’s Netflix show “With Love, Meghan,” premiered on Tuesday, a source told Vanity Fair that Prince William and Kate Middleton have “zero interest” in watching.
“The king knows more than enough about beekeeping. Besides, he’s far too busy to sit down and watch it,” they added about King Charles.
In episode one, titled “Hello, Honey!”, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, harvests honey from her beehives. Coincidentally, King Charles, 76, and the Princess of Wales, 43, are beekeepers themselves, with Buckingham Palace having four beehives on site.

“There’s very little to actually learn from Meghan’s TV show,” a friend of the royals told the outlet. “I suspect that [the royal family] will be quite dismissive of it. I can’t imagine Kate and William will sit down and watch it. Why would they?”
The eight-episode show has received mixed reviews — with some critics calling it “exhausting” and “pointless.”
The Post’s Kirsten Fleming wrote that the word “joy” should “pursue a cease-and-desist against Markle.”

If you played a drinking game and threw one back every time she said it, you’d be blacked out 10 minutes into the first episode,” she writes. “Then again, that could make viewing this vanity project more palatable.”
Throughout the series, Markle hosts a slew of guests including Mindy Kaling, Tatcha skincare brand founder Vicky Tsai, and food truck chef Roy Choi at a rented home in Montecito, California.
But the “Suits” alum doesn’t appear to be fazed by negative remarks.

Majesty magazine editor-in-chief Ingrid Seward told Vanity Fair: “I watched it wanting it to be something special, but it really wasn’t. This was meant to be the make or break show for Meghan but it didn’t feel groundbreaking in any way. Netflix might get curiosity viewings but I think this will be the death knell for their multimillion-dollar TV deal.”
However, Seward did enjoy the celebrities and Sussex friends who made an appearance.

Serena Williams would have been great,” she mused. “And I thought it was humorless, it needed a big injection of fun and self-deprecation on Meghan’s part. There was nothing terribly funny like something splashed over that ridiculously white blouse.”
But despite the royal family shying away from watching, Markle, who married Prince Harry in 2018 and stepped away from her royal duties together with him in 2020, gave a mini shout-out to those across the pond.
“It’s so funny that you keep saying ‘Meghan Markle.’ You know I’m Sussex now,” Markle told Kaling, 45, on the show.
Then, on Thursday’s appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” she was introduced as “Meghan Sussex.”
