Queen Camilla spotted Christmas shopping at luxury department store loved by Queen Elizabeth II
By Sean MandellQueen Camilla got in some Christmas shopping at one of Queen Elizabeth II's favorite luxury shops.
Camilla, 77, was spotted at London department store Fortnum and Mason Tuesday afternoon by an eagle-eyed shopper, who observed the royal consort perusing tins of tea, according to DailyMail.
The onlooker told the outlet that Camilla chose a tin of cinnamon and orange black tea, which he said retails for £13.95 (approximately $17.57).
Located next to the Ritz Hotel in London, Fortnum and Mason has long been a favorite place for members of the royal family to buy Christmas presents.
"Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II continued the family tradition of doing Christmas shopping in store, which had to be arranged months in advance," the company's website states.
Like Camilla, Elizabeth liked to give tea as a present.
"The list of provisions provided for her and her mother to give as presents reveal a shared practical bent of mind, with breakfast trays, breakfast sets, garden furniture and hostess trolleys being particularly popular," the site adds.
