“It’s one of my favorites, it’s so funny, it really makes me laugh,” added the British leader. “You are brilliant at it, you got her spot on.”
Queen Camilla was appointed royal patron of the National Theatre in 2022. The title was previously held by her step daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle, from 2019 to 2021. The "Suits" actress relinquished her title when she and her husband Prince Harry stepped back from royal duties.

Hello! reported that Sir Damon Buffini, the chairman of the National Theatre, thanked the Queen in his speech.
“It’s absolutely fantastic that you’re our patron. We are, after all, the Royal National Theatre. It means a huge amount to us to have your support," he gushed. “We’d like to see you more often. You could drag your other half along as well if you’d like to, we promise it won’t be too long,"
And for Queen Camilla, it was a night well spent. “That was a very lovely occasion,” she reportedly told guests as the evening came to a close.
Prince Andrew faces a hefty $190,000 bill to stop his Royal Lodge property from “spiraling out of control,” according to a UK property expert.
The disgraced Duke of York, 64, was poised to leave the Royal Lodge after his brother King Charles cut him off financially late last year.
In a desperate bid to pinch a few pennies, the disgraced Duke of York has kept himself busy by taking on yard work at the house after no longer being able to afford help.
As a result, the 21-acre garden is in a “shocking state.”

Now, it appears as though Andrew is in need of a “professional intervention” if he wants the estate ever looking as good as it once did, a UK property expert told GB News.
“Without regular attention, overgrowth can quickly spiral out of control, requiring professional intervention to restore order,” Terry Fisher told the outlet.
“Maintaining 21 acres of gardens at a property like Royal Lodge would typically require a dedicated team of four to six gardeners, depending on the complexity of the landscaping.”
Fisher went on, “Costs can vary, but hiring experienced gardeners could range from $37,000 to $50,000 annually per gardener, meaning the total annual maintenance bill could easily exceed $190,000.
“This would cover routine tasks like mowing, pruning, planting, and general upkeep to ensure the grounds remain in top condition.”
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, this week unveiled the new name of her soon-to-be-launched brand, revealing that she dropped the initial American Riviera Orchard moniker.
Now, a small New York-based vintage clothing company has addressed the “Suits” alum’s rebrand.
“Wow and hello,” the company’s founder, Mark Kolski, wrote in a statement on Instagram Tuesday.
An independent NYC clothing brand named As Ever has detailed its concerns after Markle's rebrand. asevernyc.com
“I want to say thank you to all the old friends who know and love our small family brand As Ever, and also say hi to all those that have just become aware we exist.”
“In the last 36 hours there has been an outpouring of support and concern regarding recent events around our namesake brand,” the statement continued. “We are aware. We are not affiliated.”
Kolski said that while he officially launched his business in 2017, the project had been in the works since 2015. The company is based in New York and New Jersey.
Meghan Markle's new logo for her renamed, rebranded lifestyle company, "As Ever" — a palm tree with a hummingbird on each side — carries subtle references to her marriage, home, and surprisingly, even the late Queen Elizabeth.
Palm trees
It’s no secret that Markle’s sunny neighborhood is home to many palm trees — but that imagery in her new branding is more than just a nod to Montecito.
The graphic features one palm tree and two hummingbirds.
“One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was those two palm trees,” the Duchess of Sussex, 43, said about their mansion. “See how they’re connected at the bottom? He goes: ‘My love, it’s us.'”
Markle said at the time that their son, Prince Archie, now 5, is in on it too, telling the mag that he would say, “Hi, Mama. Hi, Papa," as he walked by the trees when playing in the yard.
Hummingbirds
Meanwhile, the Duke of Sussex, 40, previously revealed the special meaning hummingbirds hold for him, as a reminder of his beloved grandmother.
In his 2023 memoir, “Spare,” Harry reminisced on getting a visit from a hummingbird shortly after the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022.

“Soon after our return [home to California after the funeral], a hummingbird got into the house,” the former working royal wrote. “I had a devil of a time guiding it out, and the thought occurred that maybe we should start shutting the doors, despite those heavenly ocean breezes.
“Then a mate said: Could be a sign, you know? Visitors, as it were. Aztecs thought them reincarnated warriors. Spanish explorers called them ‘resurrection birds.'”
On Monday night, the Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram to reveal she’s ditched the American Riviera Orchard moniker after feeling “limited” in her options.
Along with the announcement, the “Suits” alum, 43, unveiled a brand-new website and logo for her business venture, which features a sweet snap of her and Harry’s 3-year-old daughter.

Meghan Markle took to social media Monday night to unveil the brand new name for her lifestyle business venture, revealing it will now be called “As Ever.”
“The cat’s out of the bag,” the Duchess of Sussex, 43, said in an Instagram video taken in her backyard as her husband, Prince Harry, can be heard saying, “It’s recording.”
“I’m shocked we’ve kept this a secret for so long. In two weeks my show is coming out, which I’m so excited for. And also my business, which I think there has been a lot of curiosity about.”

She went on, “Last year, I had thought, ‘American Riviera, that sounds like such a great name.’ It’s my neighborhood… it’s a nickname for Santa Barbara, but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area.”
“Then Netflix came on, not just as my partner in the show, but as my partner in my business. which was huge. So I thought about it, and I’ve been waiting for a moment to share a name that I had secured in 2022, and this is the moment, and it’s called As Ever.”
