Prince Nikolaos of Greece ties the knot with Chrysí Vardinogiánni at Athens church just months after divorce
By Carly Ortiz-LytlePrince Nikalaos of Greece married for the second time on Friday, just months after his divorce from Princess Tatianna was finalized.
The third son of Greece’s last king, Constantine II, was joined in holy matrimony with Chrysí Vardinogiánni at the Church of Agios Nikolaos Rangavas in central Athens, surrounded by family and friends.
Nikolaos’ engagement to Vardinogiánni, the daughter of a Greek shipping magnate, was announced on January 22. The couple were first spotted together leaving a memorial service for the late King Constantine II days prior.
Royal families from around Europe made a strong showing at the ceremony, with Queen Anne Marie of Greece’s sister Princess Benedikte of Denmark and sister-in-law Queen Sofia of Spain in attendance.
