Kate Middleton will not return to full-time royal duties ‘any time soon': report

By Nika Shakhnazarova

Kate Middleton will have a slow start to the year, according to a new report.

The Princess of Wales, who turns 43 Thursday, will ease into 2025 by taking on a fraction of the public-facing duties that she would typically have on her calendar.

Sources told the Daily Mail that the mom of three “simply won’t be going back to work in the same way as before” her cancer diagnosis, which she revealed to the world in March 2024.

What’s more, Princess Catherine’s children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, will remain her top priority this year, insiders add.

Currently, the princess’ diary does not include any full-scale foreign tours, and it will be a while before she returns to the royal fold in full — given that her cancer recovery remains on track.

Still, royal fans can expect to see the beloved royal attend key events in the royal calendar, such as the Trooping the Colour ceremony, which is her “number one priority” among royal engagements.

By Sean Mandell

Meghan Markle is in mourning.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, announced on Tuesday that her rescue dog Guy has died.

Captioning a video montage she posted on Instagram, Markle wrote, “In 2015, I adopted a beagle from a dog rescue in Canada. He had been at a kill shelter in Kentucky and given a few days to live. I swooped him up….and fell in love.”

“They referred to him as ‘the little guy’ because he was so small and frail,” the Duchess added of her beagle. “[S]o I named him ‘Guy’. And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for.”

Meghan found Guy prior to meeting Prince Harry when she lived in Toronto, where her show “Suits” filmed. At that point in her life, the former actress was active on social media and ran a lifestyle blog called The Tig.

Harkening back to that time, she said, “If you followed me on instagram back in the day, you saw a lot of him – and on The Tig too. He was with me at Suits, when I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom….he was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort.”

“He endured a terrible accident shortly before I moved to the UK which had him undergoing surgeries for several months and unable to leave the clinic,” Meghan continued.

Prince Harry is set to return to the U.K. for ongoing legal battle: report

By Alexandra Bellusci

Prince Harry is venturing across the pond.

The Duke of Sussex is set to face off against News Group Newspapers (NGN), which owns The Sun, in court this month. Harry had accused the media company of using unlawful information gathering tactics.

Hello! Magazine reported on Tuesday that the prince won’t be accompanied by Meghan Markle, as she will likely stay home California with their kids, Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3.

NGN has previously admitted to phone hacking at the News of the World, which shut down in 2011.

However, they are claiming that there was no wrongdoing at The Sun.

Here are the Royal Family members that follow Meghan Markle's new Instagram

Meghan Markle has made her royal return to social media.

After coming back to Instagram for the first time in years at the start of 2025, many of the Duchess of Sussex's closest friends have hit the follow button. But are any members of the royal family - in which she left in 2020 with Prince Harry - following her new account?

Unfortunately, despite King Charles and Queen Camilla having their own account, @theroyalfamily, along with Prince William and Kate Middleton (@princeandprincessofwales), neither follow Markle who now boasts the handle @meghan.

But, both official accounts still follow the @sussexroyal page that the "Suits" alum and her husband once used.

Princess Eugenie and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who is married to Eugenie's sister, Princess Beatrice, both follow @sussexroyal, but not @meghan.

Fellow members Sarah Ferguson and Mike Tindall, do not follow either @sussexroyal or @meghan, while Princess Beatrice doesn't have a public Instagram account.

After splitting royal households in 2019, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched their own Instagram account to highlight their royal work. The couple sometimes shared messages directly from them rather than their communications team to create a personal feel.

On Jan. 1, Markle unveiled her verified Instagram account and has since amassed 1.4 million followers.

After almost five years away from the platform, a source shared that the Netflix star is "excited" to make her online comeback, where she plans to spread "joy" and give updates on her latest projects and ventures.

Prince Andrew reported to police over fake name used to set up private investments company

By Nika Shakhnazarova

Prince Andrew has been reported to police and accused of using a fake name to register a company, The Post has learned.

The disgraced Duke of York, 64, used the pseudonym Andrew Inverness in 2003 when he joined forces with sports retail tycoon Johan Eliasch to set up a company called Naples Gold Limited.

Andrew, who owned four companies that were linked to those registered at Companies House under the name, was described as a “consultant” on official forms, docs obtained by The Post show.

Now, an anti-monarchy campaign group called Republic has accused the former working royal of falsifying official documents.

Graham Smith, the chief executive of the organization, has filed an official complaint to Scotland Yard, responsible for policing much of London.

London’s Metropolitan Police is currently in the process of determining whether any further action against the scandal-scarred duke is required.

King Charles and Queen Camilla make first appearance of 2025 amid cancer battle

By Sean Mandell

Rain can't stop the royals.

King Charles and Queen Camilla made their first public appearance of the new year as the sovereign continues his cancer fight.

Charles, 76, and his consort, 77, stepped out for a rainy trudge to St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham estate Sunday morning, smiling despite the downpour.

The King greeted Graham Usher, Bishop of Norwich, who preached the sermon at the service.

Camilla opted for a clear umbrella as she tried to stay dry, seemingly following in the footsteps of her late mother-in-law Queen Elizabeth II, who used the see-through accessory on rainy days so the public could still see her despite the inclement weather. "I need to be seen to be believed," Elizabeth once remarked.

King Charles revealed he had cancer in February 2024. Last month, palace sources confirmed to The Post that his treatment is expected to extend into 2025 but is "moving in a positive direction" as a "managed condition."

Mindy Kaling talks filming Meghan Markle’s Netflix cooking show on Golden Globes 2025 red carpet

By Sean Mandell

Mindy Kaling name-checked Meghan Markle at the 2025 Golden Globes.

The “Mind Show” creator, 45, spoke about the Duchess of Sussex, 43, during her chat with E! News on Sunday’s pre-Globes red carpet.

Earlier this week, Meghan released the first trailer for her new Netflix cooking show, “With Love, Meghan,” which features the former working royal in the kitchen with some of her famous friends — including Kaling.

The kitchen, however, is not in Markle’s $14.65 million Montecito, California, mansion, but rather in an $8 million farmhouse just 2 miles away, which Markle used as the location for her culinary series, per the Daily Mail.

Yet prior to the Globes kicking off and revealing this year’s winners, Kaling said she visited Meghan at the former “Suits” star’s personal garden.

“I mean, I had had my baby and I think I was two months postpartum and she texted me and was like, ‘Do you want to be on my show?'” Kaling recalled of being asked to appear on “With Love, Meghan.”
