King Charles will welcome President Donald Trump at Windsor Castle for his second state visit to the UK in September.
The monarch, 76, extended an unprecedented invitation to the commander in chief and First Lady Melania Trump earlier this year following his historic election win, with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer even hand-delivering His Majesty’s note to Trump.

Starmer has gone against the King’s wishes by bringing Trump’s lavish visit forward by many months, The Times of London reports.
Charles, who is also the current monarch of Canada, had previously invited Trump to meet at either Balmoral Castle or Dumfries House in Scotland.
After palace officials explored all options ahead of Trump’s second state visit, plans were reportedly switched up to ensure the visit was anything but informal.

Prince Harry is feeling regretful over the role he played in widening the ongoing royal rift, with a prominent royal author claiming he wishes that “he’d done things differently.”
The Duke of Sussex, 40, has been embroiled in a years-long feud with the Windsor clan ever since he and his wife, Meghan Markle, took the plunge and hightailed across the pond to the US.
Since setting up camp in Montecito, Calif., in 2020, the Sussexes have only returned to the UK a handful of times — underscoring just how distant both camps have become.

According to royal author Duncan Larcombe, the “Spare” author wishes he had acted differently when things began to go awry.
“Harry is a sensitive soul and always wore his heart on his sleeve, so whether he’d admit it publicly or not, I’m sure he’s full of regrets and wishes he’d done things differently,” Larcombe told OK! Magazine.
“With Trooping the Colour and Father’s Day falling on the same weekend, it was bound to make him look back at the happy relationships he once had with his brother and dad, and I’m sure he’d love to be able to rebuild those,” added Larcombe, author of “Prince Harry: The Inside Story.”
