Exclusive details: King Charles and Prince Harry at point of 'no turning back' as monarch shuts door on reconciliation: report
By Nika ShakhnazarovaKing Charles’ bitter rift with Prince Harry has now reached a breaking point — and a royal reconciliation may no longer be possible, The Post understands.
The monarch, 76, has kept a stoic silence on top of a 5,459-mile-long distance from his estranged youngest son following his and wife Meghan Markle’s decision to quit royal life in 2020.
Relations between the father-son duo have become so fractured, that palace insiders no longer believe that a reconciliation is in the cards for the feuding royals.

“There is no turning back,” royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News. “King Charles remains tender towards his son but can’t risk communication. Prince William now has absolutely no interest in mending fences.”
Fordwich added that the king’s inner circle says he “shouldn’t” make peace with his son “in a way that would burden Prince William’s future reign.”
“The animosity is so deep that William has shut the door on Harry. Charles is not willing to go against his heir’s wishes,” she added.
Indeed, trust — or lack thereof — remains at the heart of the rift.
An palace insider told The Post that the king “simply doesn’t trust Harry” — citing the Duke of Sussex’s explosive BBC interview, which is said to have shattered what little trust remained between them.
