Ch. 9 has killed its 10 p.m. newscast and replaced it with pre-produced programming. Its final newscast — anchored by Brenda Blackmon and Harry Martin — aired Tuesday night.

Beginning this Monday, “Chasing New Jersey” — described as “a 30-minute topical program focusing on all things New Jersey,” will air weeknights at 10.

Blackmon will remain at Ch. 9. Martin was offered a reporting position on sister station Ch. 5.

Sports guy Russ Salzberg and weathercaster Audrey Puente, who worked on Ch. 9 and Ch. 5, will continue on Ch. 5.
