Chris Brown’s comeback has been dealt another major blow. The R&B singer’s guest appearance on producer Timbaland’s new album has been axed, apparently on the agreement of both parties.
Brown was set to provide vocals on a song titled “The One I Love,” but their clashing schedules have brought the curtain down on the collaboration. It marks the latest setback for Brown, who sparked outrage earlier this year when he violently attacked then-girlfriend Rihanna, leaving her bloodied and bruised.
A spokesman for Timbaland said: “The decision was a mutual decision since both artists were at the time working on their solo projects,” adding, “Chris is a friend to us.”
