Former “Miami Vice” and “Nash Bridges” star Don Johnson could be returning to television.
Johnson is in negotiations to star in ABC’s comedy pilot “Southern Discomfort” as a tough, hard-core conservative Texan whose life is turned upside down when his grown kids move back in.
Steve Talley has landed a lead role as the eldest son, a slacker who kissed off a baseball scholarship to pursue writing.
Johnson recently appeared in the feature “When in Rome.”
