THE surprise reunions of soldiers from all five branches of the military with their spouses, children, parents and other loved ones as they return home from active duty is the subject of the new Lifetime series “Coming Home.” Hosted by former “American Idol” finalist Matt Rogers, each episode will highlight five reunions featuring soldiers. In the premiere, First Lieutenant Chris Redding from Hawaii’s Schoefield Barracks comes home from Iraq and gives his 8 year-old son a very special surprise, in shining armor. Seaman Peyton Yancey from the naval base in Norfolk, Virginia, surprises his family on Christmas morning. gives his family the Christmas Surprise of a lifetime. Also from Norfolk is “top gun” pilot Lieutenant Commander Mike Beaty meets his newborn daughter.

On “Secret Millionaire,” she leaves her lavish lifestyle behind to spend six days in one of the poorest areas of Knoxville, Tennessee, in search of those most in need of her help. While there, she will survive on welfare-level wages, volunteer her time and search her heart to determine how much of her own fortune to gift the community heroes she meets.
