Whether it’s spies, con men or just your classic police drama, here are three crimi nally fun shows Mama fell for last year that mark their return this week:

* “White Collar” (Tuesday, 9 p.m., USA) After two seasons of battling the regular-season fare, Mama is thrilled that this odd-couple caper has moved to the summer season — bad boy Neal Caffrey (Matthew Bomer) was created to be shirtless. Amid the usual cat-and-mouse game with FBI agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay), the charming Caffrey finds love — sort of — with new cast member Hilarie Burton (of “One Tree Hill”), whom he had a brief fling with last season. But don’t expect the reformed con man to go all monogamous on us, as uber-babe Eliza Dushku, of “Buffy” and “Dollhouse” fame, struts onto the scene in the ninth episode — just in time for a couple’s mid-season breakup.

* “The Glades” (Sunday, 10 p.m., A&E) This was Mama’s most unexpected romance of last season. It isn’t like this series did anything different — or better — than the standard police procedurals that it followed in the footsteps of. But somehow the sly Jim Longworth (Matt Passmore) became more irresistible with each case he solved. The Florida-based detective show is now considered a hit (at least by A&E standards), so let’s hope the series has nabbed a larger budget to ensure its special effects will stop looking like high school drama-club productions and its painfully awful extras can afford some acting lessons.

* “Covert Affairs” (Tuesday, 10 p.m., USA) Season one of this spy adventure series had “Alias” knockoff written all over it, although agent Annie Walker (Piper Perabo) looked more like a wide-eyed deer in the headlights than bad-ass Sydney Bristow as she was thrown into each week’s daredevil, clothing-optional mission.
