Eddie Murphy is saying he’s ready to bury the hatchet with “Saturday Night Live.” “They were s–ty to me on ‘SNL’ a couple of times after I’d left the show,” he tells Rolling Stone.

Apparently, the last straw for Murphy, who got his start on the show in the early 1980s, was a David Spade sketch in 1995, which called him a “falling star.”

“What really irritated me about it at the time was that it was a career shot,” he said.

After that, he refused to appear on the show. Now, he says, the anger is gone, and he’s ready to go back if he’s invited.
