Fashion and film go together like popcorn and Goobers.

That’s why Esquire magazine launches its fashionable film series “Celluloid Style” tonight.

Each Tuesday, a major New York designer will host a screening of a film that has most influenced their work, followed by a Q&A with the designer.

Tonight is “The Graduate,” a film chosen by Tommy Hilfiger. In coming weeks, Isaac Mizrahi screens “The Great Gatsby,” Michael Kors shows “Downhill Racer,” Andy Spade will screen “The Royal Tenenbaums,” and John Bartlett will present “American Gigolo” – in which Richard Gere sports Giorgio Armani.

“It represented my ’80s fashion ideal,” Bartlett says.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for students, and can be purchased at the Chelsea Clearview Cinemas, on West 23rd Street.

Proceeds will benefit the FIT Scholarship Program.
