‘AMERICA’S Next Top Model 2” has reached the end of the runway.
And that means it’s time to pick a winner from among three finalists (out of an original field of 12).
The one-hour finale of UPN’s highest-rated series (averaging 6.4 million viewers per week, according to Nielsen) airs tonight at 9 on UPN/Ch. 9.
The finalists are:
* Shandi Sullivan, 21, a Walgreen’s clerk from Kansas City, Mo., who tearfully called her boyfriend on a recent episode to tell him she cheated in a six-way sex tryst in Milan that was caught on tape, but never aired.
* Yoanna House, 23, a babysitter from Jacksonville, Fla., who has been stung by criticism that her midriff is not all it could be.
* Mercedes Scelba-Shorte, 21, a waitress from Valencia, Calif., who defended Yoanna when another contestant tried to spread a rumor that Yoanna had an eating disorder.
On tonight’s finale, a panel of judges – executive producer Tyra Banks, model Janice Dickinson, Eric Nicholson of Jane magazine, photographer Nigel Barker, and guest judges Dean and Dan Caten, designers – will determine who will win the grand prize: a modeling contract, a photo spread in Jane, and a starring role in a new ad campaign for Sephora.
