NBC’s coverage of the first day of war in Iraq topped the ratings.
From 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. during President Bush’s speech and the first raids, NBC scored a 13.0, followed by CBS with 9.4 and ABC with 7.9, according to Nielsen’s metered market ratings.
On cable, Fox News Channel was on top with 7.2 million viewers. CNN was watched by about 6.7 million and MSNBC by about 3.4 million.
