A bit of Bernstein, anyone – for free?

As part of the Lenny B love-in sweeping the city, the China Philharmonic’s recent performance in Beijing of Bernstein classics – the “West Side Story” suite and overture to “Candide” among them – will be broadcast tomorrow on the giant screens in Times Square, along with historic footage and clips from “On the Town.”

The 45-minute tribute starts at 7 p.m.; Bernstein’s daughter Jamie will preside in person (she’ll narrate the film as well). For more info, call 646-596-8700.
