Lulu Johnson has one of the funkiest wardrobes in the galaxy.

For years, she’s been the muse for her mom, iconic New York fashion designer Betsey Johnson.

But Lulu, 29, had her own fashion goals. Two years ago, she launched her own shoe company: Lulu Johnson shoes. Trendy stores like The Shoe Box on the Upper East Side and The Shoe Inn in East Hampton sell the colorful, open-toe shoes at $220 a pair.

She accepted The Post’s challenge to find an outfit for $100, choosing to dig for goods at the hip vintage shop Flying A in the West Village.

“I am definitely my mother’s daughter,” she says. “I love color and I love cleavage and I love sexiness and femininity and all that. But I’m not big, poofy tutus and I’m not flowers so much. I’m not as cartoon-y and flower-y and poof-y as much as my mom is.”

Let’s see what she can do.

It’s a spectrum of color in this funky boutique. Lulu is drawn to a cute yellow vintage tee with the word “bonita” on it, for $39.

She asks the saleslady for a pair of scissors and decides to transform the shirt into a tube top on the spot.

(How to do it: Measure where the tube top should start, right above the chest. Cut a straight line right above the chest, to make it into a tube top. Then cut a straight line down the back of the shirt. Cut out slabs in the back of the shirt to create straps. Put on the shirt, and tie the straps in the back.)

“Am I in my own little dream world here?” she says, while cutting away. “Does it look OK?”

It’s hot.

Lulu eyes the slips and vintage nightgowns.

“I love anything lingerie or a slip dress,” she says. “With a jean jacket and flip flops or my high heels, it’s a perfect outfit for me.”

Lulu picks out an antique lace slip and some yellow flip-flops to go along with it. Oops! She’s $18 over.

“I think it’s OK to go over on a certain item that’s going to make you feel more comfortable,” she says. “Especially if you really love it.”

Out on Spring Street, Lulu models the ensemble – but substitutes her own Lulu Johnson shoes for the flip-flops. Truckers honk their horns. People stop to stare.

“It’s the perfect summery outfit,” says Lulu. “I love the banana humor mixed with the sexy, flirtatious skirt.”

The best part? “I get to keep it!” she says. “Awesome!”
