Dominique Strauss- Kahn’s sex-assault case has put New York City’s sex-crimes prosecutors under a microscope as they prepare for their close-up.

“Sex Crimes Unit,” a documentary that goes behind their closed doors, debuts Monday on HBO.

It was shot well before the former International Monetary Fund leader’s arrest — for allegedly attacking a hotel maid — but is airing just as his case has given its subject a new currency.
