ADAM Sandler isn’t the only actor doing double duty this season.

* Leonardo DiCaprio stars in “Gangs of New York,” opening Dec. 20, followed five days later by “Catch Me If You Can.”

* Julianne Moore, currently on screen in “Far From Heaven,” will return in “The Hours,” opening Dec. 27.

* “The Hours” also stars Meryl Streep, who appears in “Adaptation,” due out Dec. 6.

* Nicolas Cage, another cast member of “Adaptation,” has a small role in “Sonny,” his directing debut (Dec. 27).

* Pierce Brosnan, currently seen in “Die Another Day,” will be back with “Evelyn” (Dec. 13).

* Philip Seymour Hoffman follows “The 25th Hour” (Dec. 19) with “Love Liza” (Dec. 30).

* And John C. Reilly has three movies next month: “Gangs of New York,” “The Hours” and, opening Dec. 27, “Chicago.”
